My Approach

My focus centres around the individual holistically. Using a very human relational process that is also embedded in evidence based theory and the belief that "Not one approach fits all"
Theory

My approach considers the individual person, their issues and circumstances. I consider you in your entirety, not just an isolated element of your life (unless that is how you wish to work). Always at the core of the work is our relationship, your safety and comfortableness with the process.

Integrative Psychotherapy, Mental Health Professional, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Relational Counselling

As I work integratively, I draw upon ideas from many different school of thought and use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Systemic, Narrative, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and Person Centred Concepts. I mix and synthesise these to help you to work through your difficulties, heal from them or redefine them. Another strong influence in the way I work is understanding the connection and interconnection between our body, mind and soul. My approach will bring elements of mindfulness relaxation and meditation if appropriate (and providing you are open to this way of working).
